Do brand name golf clubs hit further and more accurate?

I bought an off brand name of golf clubs for $100 a couple years ago, and now that I am a better golfer I was wondering if brand named clubs are better (Callaway, Nike, TaylorMade, etc)? A couple of my friends say they do, and they all hit longer than me with brand name clubs. Thanks for the help.

Usually, yes. Brand names his further and more accurate. Unless you have the best club crafter in the world, which I doubt you do.

while they wont make you a good player better brand irons are longer and more accurate as they follow a better process in manufacturing and are made of better materials.
