Water-soluble regripping tape is available that allows using a water/dishsoap solution instead of solvent chemicals. The downside of this method is that the adhesive dries into a hard gummy bond that is very hard to remove if the club ever needs future regripping.

I use Coleman Camp Fuel. Lighter than mineral spirits and evaporates reasonably quickly.
i like to use urine as solvent !
For round 10.
white spirits, lighter fluid, gasoline, etc
