What are the best golf clubs to get?

I am going to purchase golf clubs for my bf for our anniversary. Of course I know absolutely NOTHING about golf, clubs or whatever is included in that. Do you know the best expensive golf clubs or the best cheap golf clubs? (I am going to compare them) What else do I have to get him and how many clubs in all? O and he is also a beginner..Please help!!

      expensive- get him a taylor made woods set, cleveland or nike irons, cleveland wedges, a taylor made hybrid, and a white hot putter

      cheaper- go into any sports stores that hold golf clubs and ask them for any good cheap clubs; there are tons of different good knock off brands

      For about five years and forgiving ive had mine for the old nike sling shot irons are really good and forgiving ive gone from 18 handicap hope this helps have good one.

      The expensive brands are taylor made callaway nike cleveland to name few probably not necessary for beginner full set will usually include 135 woods 39iron pitching wedge.
