What’s the best type of golf clubs that I should buy?

I am brand new to golf. I have hit some balls at the driving range a couple times and I went to play on the front 9 holes of a course. I want to buy my own set of clubs but I don’t want to spend anymore than $300. Are there any really good deals out there or any type of clubs I should be looking at?

      You can but full sets of clubs at sporting good stores, like Dicks. They include all of the basic clubs and they come with a bag. You can generally buy a nice set of clubs like that for under 300$.
